Acclaimed singer-songwriters JF Robitaille and Lail Arad gear up to perform their new single, Heathrow, at Heathrow Airport.
During a co-headline tour of Italy in 2016, Canada’s JF Robitaille and Lail Arad, from London, found their duets increasingly in demand. Excited by the reactions, a collaboration emerged between the two songwriters and snowballed in a way they could not have predicted.
The success of their debut single We Got It Coming opened new doors and the pair embarked on numerous tours, playing more than 100 shows across 9 countries, from Italy to India.
Their single The Photograph was championed by Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music. In Canada the track was in rotation on CBC Radio 1, as well as being added to Spotify’s New Music Friday and Lo-fi Indie playlists.
The pair have made live appearances on Loose Ends (BBC Radio 4), Robert Elms (BBC London) and John Kennedy (Radio X).
Their third single, Heathrow, is a transatlantic gem that will feature on their much-anticipated debut album.
