Get into the holiday mood at Heathrow! We’re celebrating the new Year of the Pig with a programme of traditional entertainments. Read on to see what’s happening on your date of travel.

Let the lion chase away evil spirits and banish the winter blues, accompanied by the music of beating drums. Our lion dancers will be in the terminals on Thursday 31st January and Friday 1st February at these times:
- Terminal 5: 14:30—17:00
- Terminal 4: 17:30—20:30
Chinese folk dancers
New to Heathrow this year – our dance trio bring the sights and sounds of traditional folk dance to the Year of the Earth Pig. Here’s where and when you can catch a performance:
- Tuesday 29th January

- Wednesday 30th January
- Terminal 5 13:00—16:00
- Terminal 4 16:30—19:00
The caishen roams the departure lounge, handing out red envelopes and sweet treats. Invite a little extra prosperity into your life in the run-up to Lunar New Year! Look out for the money god on the following dates:

Celebrate the Year of the Earth Pig with an origami animal. Simply pick up your paper and instructions at the information desk in the departures lounge. There’s no charge. Available until 21st February.
Have your airport purchases gift-wrapped in exchange for a small donation to charity. Just ask at the information desk in the departures lounge.
Travelling through Heathrow at Lunar New Year
You can pick up a printed version of your Chinese horoscope (in both English and Simplified Chinese) and an origami pig – just ask at the information desk in the departure lounge.
