Steve Warner is a folk singer-songwriter based in the beautiful Hertfordshire village of Kimpton.
Steve writes songs about the world around him on diverse subjects such as the World War One trenches, the demise of the British car industry, the devastating disease of dementia and the Glencoe Massacre (to name but a few).
Writing, arranging and performing his own material, Steve plays in folk clubs from Watford to Cambridge, as well as pubs and coffee shops.
He says: “I write songs about things that matter, about the world around us and the people in it!”
His work has won plaudits from, among others, contemporary folk/acoustic duo Glimore & Roberts, who said: “Steve tells great stories through his songs and captures the audience with his engaging delivery.”
